Capitaland Chorus and Racing City Chorus gave a free concert, "Love and Harmony Is in the Air," at the Clifton Park Library on Sunday, February 4. Both choruses performed their favorite love songs and even sang some joint numbers. Three quartets from Capitaland: "Now and Then," "Mad Caps," and "After Hours" and two from Racing City: "Pitch Hitters" and "Remnants" also performed to a nearly full house.

Representatives from the Capitaland Chorus enjoyed Albany's Wine & Dine for the Arts Grand Gala along with many other supporters of the arts. Subrina Dhammi from News Channel 13, Albany's Mayor Sheehan and Congressman Paul Tonko were among the speakers at the event. The chorus is extremely grateful for the financial support awarded to us by this charitable organization.
Capitaland Chorus Director, Sue Koppenhaver, and Lead Section Leader, Nancy Plaat, attended the Mayor's Reception on Thursday, Jan 25, 2024, where the Mayor and the Festival Board of Directors kicked off the 15th Anniversary Albany Chefs’ Food & Wine Festival: Wine & Dine for the Arts. This elegant cocktail reception featured hors d’oeuvres, & wine generously donated by Sonoma-Cutrer and champagne generously donated by Korbel. The directors of Albany’s Arts Organizations, chefs, Legacy Award winners, and Festival Sponsors attended.
An ensemble from Capitaland Chorus performed for the Kingsway Village Apartment complex on Jan 10, 2024. Our group was very well received by the residents and we hope to return again soon.
Capitaland Chorus performed holiday favorites for the festive crowd on the streets of Saratoga Springs at the annual Victorian Streetwalk on Thursday, November 30.

An ensemble from Capitaland Chorus entertained the residents of Coburg Village on Aug 23, 2023. We were very pleased to recognize a former member in the audience! Our program included a wide variety of songs, old and new, in the barbershop style. The audience even joined us for some four part harmony together!
