Capitaland Chorus was honored to perform for patrons of the Wine & Dine Grand Gala. See more photos here. The chorus is a beneficiary of Wine & Dine for the Arts, funds from which support chorus ongoing education and other administrative expenses.
New Capitaland members, Carie Cole (baritone) and Sarah Maryhugh (tenor) received their official Sweet Adelines International membership cards and were assigned "big sisters", who sing the same part, to help with any questions about the chorus. Welcome, ladies!!

Graduates from Capitaland's "a cappella 101" courses, held 10/25/22-11/15/22, attended classes on breathing and phonation, tuning and intonation, physical and emotional expression, and music theory conducted by director, Sue Koppenhaver. We're happy to say most are interested in pursuing membership!
This Holiday Season, Capitaland Chorus is helping to support Building on Love. We performed at their Holiday Extravaganza at the Cohoes Music Hall on Sunday, December 4 at 2:00pm. We are also participating in their "Trees of Hope" raffle by donating our "Music to Your Ears" tree, worth over $800. Ticket sales closed. Drawing 12/16.
